Warning... When you leave make sure you leave the caravan in perfect condition cleaned and hoovered throughout with nothing out of place or the telephone receptionist will tell you all about the complaints the cleaner made, even though she hadn't seen it herself. Forget being revived and refreshed after a break away from home you'll be left feeling incompetent, inadequate and fully aware you're not their sort of customer after you've spent your money at their site all week. What a failure I feel as a mother of three not noticing my 2 & 3 yr old had left some crumbs while I packed for five people, packed up a cot bed, got them all dressed and fed, washed up & emptied all the bins by the allocated time with a husband moaning that time was running out and it wasn't going to fit in the car. Then made sure everything was in place for a 4 hour car journey with 3 kids on board. Fancy forgetting about newspapers on a shelf and a glass of water in the bedroom, there was probably other things I forgot too I'm sure, so sorry Bucklegrove for my poor cleaning standards. You'd have thought the place was permanently damaged or that the cleaning bill was higher than the profit they made on the caravan to make their customer feel so belittled on their journey home. I offered to pay extra for the extra cleaning bill but no one responded to the email I sent. The place is lovely but that experience totally overshadowed the lovely week I'd had. Also worrying was the fact that my 3 yr old could unlock the front door from the inside so if you've got young kids make sure you take a stair gate to use while you're asleep.

Lovely caravan site, staff very helpful & friendly. We liked being able to stay in an area where no dogs were allowed as we have small children. All facilities perfectly in proportion to site, kids loved the pool & park. Great location too, very easy to access the many attractions from there. Will definately visit again!!!

Really impressed with this site! Been to quite a few over the years and never come across such warmth and hospitality! A real family feel with positive interaction from the owners – who were attentive and very caring when our tent blew down in strong winds we were upgraded to a cosy log cabin! We were the first Family to stay as they were brand new! I have to say that after our windy experience in the middle of the night we were also blown away by this new type of family holiday too! Very comfy and very warm – but still you felt like you were camping! Nice is what really comes to mind! We were able to cook on our camp stove on the decking out side, eat alfresco with great views of Glastonbury tor and stunning planes of farm land! It felt Safe to let the kids enjoy their freedom as the park is gated! That added to the experience. Our kids made many friends! They enjoyed the pool and all the fabulous entertainment laid on by Buckegrove and its Family!
We booked again- The Log cabins!!! I am sure we will be back as there is so much to enjoy in Somerset! And this is such a well positioned site!
Many thanks to you guys! You’re so well established it would be silly for me to say keep up the good work! What you do well comes with experience and that you have!
Thank you very much

A really friendly site, in a very pretty area of Somerset and very close to Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. The pitches were of a good size and close to shower blocks and washing areas which aren't in view of the pitches. We arrived on a Tuesday and the site was very quiet, due to the lovely weather the site was pretty full for the weekend although, never felt over crowded. There's a small play area and an indoor pool area to keep the kids amused and a bar serving reasonably priced food and drinks. At all times the staff were very friendly and helpful and their relaxed attitude made all the difference. Departure times are at a reasonable time of 12 midday and at no time did we feel under pressure to leave. A really lovely holiday, this is one site we will definately visit again.

Yet again another thoroughly enjoyable stay here. This is our seventh visit and we are back again in a few weeks. The week was quite with no entertainment through Monday -Thursday due to different half terms, but the clubhouse was open.
Staff are great and get friendlier every visit and make us look forward to our next visit. Log cabins are currently being built at the top of the site with views over the Mendip hills. Kids love this site and proved even more fun when they found the slide in the play area was statically charging them.
Great site and plenty to do close by - but alas no more Pier at weston-Super-Mare.........

Very good site, thoroughly enjoyable. I enjoyed my stay here and am keen to return within the next year. Many of my friends have visited and suggested that I try the site. Very glad I did and am looking forward to going again.
