Grasmere was established before 1930 and this is our tenth season of ownership of Wentworth Chalets. Our emphasis has always been on a personal and friendly service. We tend to attract those families who prefer peace and quiet to activity and razzmatazz, and use us as a base to explore the surrounding countryside, beach, Great Yarmouth, the Norfolk Broads and numerous other local attractions.

This year was the first time we rented a static caravan at Grasmere, for years we took our touring caravan which we sold several years ago. We decided we would like to revisit Grasmere so rented the static caravan. We were not disappointed - the caravan was so well equipped, clean and comfortable. Our relatives came down mid-week and stayed on another site - their caravan was so poorly equipped they even had to go out and buy a frying pan -very poorly equipped and cost more!!!!! We will both be booking for the same week next year. There is so much to do and see within short distances i.e Yarmouth, Several of the Norfolk broads, Norwich etc. Grasmere is a great place to base yourself - no noisy arcades and clubs and great for kids with the play areas on the static sites. 10 out of 10 Don and family.
