St Helens Caravan Park is an attractive holiday park located on the border of North York Moors National Park. St Helens is 6 miles from the popular seaside town of Scarborough.
St Helens Caravan Park gives a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and is set in wonderful surroundings with all of the facilities you would expect to find in such a location. Open from late February to late January, St Helens offers a range of touring pitches that benefit from electric and water hook ups. The park is divided nicely into terraces, making use of the natural woodland to create secluded and private areas. The natural landscape is perfectly suited for holidaymakers looking to bring their own motorhomes and caravans to the site.
St Helens sits on the edge of the beautiful North York Moors National Park, making it a perfect location from which to explore the inspirational natural beauty that is present in the whole area. Whether you head into Scarborough itself, or check out similarly well-known towns such as Whitby, you will find much to do that will keep the whole family entertained during your trip.
If you are planning to explore the North York Moors, give it a little more thought and imagination than simply going on foot. Bicycle hire and even horse riding are widely available in the area, and give holidaymakers the opportunity to enjoy a unique perspective of this stunning natural landscape.
Back at the park, a children’s play area and plenty of open spaces for running off energy and ball games mean that there is always something exciting to do. In addition to these facilities, there is an excellent bar and restaurant to cater for all of your refreshment needs, and a small convenience store is well stocked with everything you will need to have a comfortable, fun-filled break.
St Helens nestles on the edge of the beautiful North York Moors National Park, alongside the rich Vale of Pickering and close to the rolling Yorkshire Wolds. It's an ideal base to explore the outstanding natural beauty of Yorkshire. With historic York only an hours drive away, Whitby to the North and Beverley, Driffield and Bridlington to the South there's always plenty to discover.
NYMR steam trains journey 18 miles through the spectacular moorland scenery. The magnificent Castle Howard, country houses at Sledmere and Burton Agnes, ancient castles and abbeys, picturesque villages, plus a wealth of exciting attractions all await exploration in this wonderful country.

just returned from our second visit this year to st helens in the park.Once again we found the staff very friendly & helpful.Facilities very clean & functional. We sampled the food at cafe a few times & had sunday lunch, breakfast & lovely homemade cakes. The shop is really handy for usual things, bread milk, biscuit etc.Luckily we had lovely weather both times, even in October .

We have stayed here before and always been satisfied but this time site staff appeared unfriendly.Stated that cafe on site and well stocked but the cafe is only available friday evening, saturday and sunday and not during the week, not well stocked either with everyday items

We have just returned from a 4 night stay,we arrived on site at 6.40pm in torrential rain and not looking forward to attempting putting up our tent,we were offered the use of one of the wooden pods on site,we enjoyed it so much we ended up hiring this for the rest of our stay, the staff are so helpful and constantly came over to see how we were getting on,the site is very well maintained, and the cleanliness of the showers and toilet block was second to none, our 8yr old boy loved the play area and the space to run around,i have already recommended this site to friends and we will be returning very soon,an excellent family friendly secure site.

Lovely site, easy to find and in a great location. Very handy for Scarborough and further afield to Heartbeat Country and York.
We have visited this site a couple of times and always found the staff very helpful, the facilities are spotless and views tremendous. Spacious pitches, good childrens play area although away from the main site so not easily watched from your van if your kiddies are small. Looking forward to our next visit at half term.
