I would just like it to be made aware of the hostility by the farmer who provides camping at Niddmouth Caravan site.
On arrival I proceeded to ask him if I was in the correct place for parking. He then said it closed season for fishing and started becoming hostile so I said I would leave.
He then go out of his tractor to take my licence plate, (which is fine and I invited him to do so). He then became more aggressive and demanded he see inside my car boot, to which I obliged. Because I could not get my boot open quick enough he then began to hit the rear window of my car with his fist. I showed him the inside of my boot and then he said if I do not get out of the car park immediately he was going to dive his tractor forks through my rear windows.
I have never been meet anywhere with such unprovoked hostility and furthermore aggression. I was considering getting a year book for the open river season to fish the Nidd mouth and surrounding areas but I can fundamentally say after this experience I will not be returning. I have never been met with such unprovoked hostility and aggression.
