Blue Dolphin Holiday Park’s cliff-top location in North Yorkshire is a stunning location.
Blue Dolphin offers 380 touring and camping pitches, some basic grass and others fully serviced hard standing pitches with a modern, recently refurbished shower block. For those who prefer a more traditional roof over their heads, take your pick from great value spacious and comfortable self-catering holiday homes.
Begin your day in a very relaxed way with a steaming cup of coffee or get the whole family out for some exercise. The central pool complex is perfect for swimming or splashing and playing on the new multi-lane slide, while the indoor Sports Dome is great no matter the weather and the Go Kart track is always good for a spin. The pace of the action at Blue Dolphin Holiday Park is yours to control, whether you want to switch off and relax or get involved with everything going on around the park, it is up to you.
Just outside Blue Dolphin Holiday Park you will find the small town of Filey, a popular seaside resort with long sandy beach. Not much farther away is the town of Scarborough, with its castle dominating the coastal skyline.
For fresh horizons visit Whitby and climb the historic 199 steps up to view historic Whitby Abbey or indulge your inner ‘Jane Goodall’ searching for fossilized sea animals at Robin Hood’s Bay. The traditional fish and chips restaurants in the area are divine, and simply have to be tried.
When you return to Blue Dolphin at the end of your great day, take a romantic bike ride or beachfront stroll just before the sun sets then go for a drink, enjoy some live music and entertainment at the on-site bar.

I just wanted to let you know what a lovely time we had on the Touring park at Blue Dolphin especially now they have a beautiful new Toilet and Shower facility,it has totally changed this site, especially now the Tourers and Tents are separate, recommend this now for all families, large or small, the Main park has a brand new swimming pool and a great spar supermarket, entertainment is great and facilities plentiful. Stayed their three nights then managed to get on the near by caravan club site and was able to begin our holiday On the first morning there my wife went to the toilet block and found four teenage boys in the lady’s The same evening I went to the toilet block to find the attendant cleaning up glass from broken windows

A few words will say it all. Goodbye Blue Dolphin.....forever. This is the worst touring site that I have been on, ever. I have never been so tightly packed in on a site. The motorhome next to me was one metre from my awning annexe as it overlapped from an adjoing pitch to the rear. Toilets, showers, washing up area and toilet point all consistantly filthy. Tents, caravanners and motorhomes just plonked their units anywhere despite pitches being marked. There was no pitch supervision at all. That takes me to 2am in the morning. It was a battleground. Drunken hordes shouting and singing, not to metion the idiot who put his radio on at full blast (remember - this 2am!!) Litter and fag ends were everywhere and stayed there day after day.I am not normally this damning in a review and chose my words wisely. However, this experience has left a very bitter taste. The management at Blue Dolphin want a lesson in the management of touring sites and how to supervise noise and anti-social behaviour at night. To be fair it was a bank holiday but any business worth its salt would have geared up ready for the onslaught, especially a big holiday site like this. I take great pride in my unit but feared that it would be damaged by people kicking footballs, and we all know how these things dent caravans. Even the bins were overflowing on top of the overflow. Remind never to visit a site with booze and late night entertaiment. I don't think that will be necessary!!

We have stayed at this park with our tourer on many occasions. I found it to be very good value for money .The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Allthough we have never visited with children ,the park is ideal for familys, never a dull moment .The drinks are expensive in the entertainment rooms but when you consider the entertainment is free and superb qaulity it banishes the expense!!!!! The site as a whole is very clean and well kept ,the showers are brilliant and shop has a large selection ,It is well worth a visit. Sharman and John carroll tyne / wear
