For Haven, Lakeland is the peak of tranquility and easy-going fun. Quietly located on the coastal edge of the South Lakes, it’s great for woodland walks, bike rides, the terrific pool complex and the golf course.
If you’re looking for a gateway into the poetic beauty of the Lake District, our park is the place for you. We’re around 30 minutes from Windermere - a stunningly beautiful setting full of the peace and calm of this special part of the UK. It’s a great spot if you’re into walking or want to explore the Lakes: from cruises on Windermere to the steam railway at Haverthwaite and South Lakes Wild Animal Park.
There’s a large, level and grassy touring area with 185 pitches and modern shower block.
Or we have our comfy home from home, self-catering holiday homes? Take your pick from great value Standard to luxury Platinum.
An especially relaxing Park after a day in The Lakes. It’s only 30 minutes or so to some of the most breathtaking scenery in Europe.
Feel free to fill each day in just your own way. Every family is different of course, but a typical day at this Holiday Park might begin with a lazy lie in or a family B Fit session. It could be a morning in the Heated Indoor Pool or a game of Crazy Golf.
Lunch out at a great little pub or pop into our Cafe Bar & Grill. Afternoon on the 9-hole Golf Course, off exploring The Lakes or playing a relaxing game of Bowls.
Early evening enjoy a coastal walk, a sunset bike ride or a barbecue. Then head off to the ShowBar for a drink, live music and dancing.
So, whether it's out and about or staying on the Caravan Park, you're sure to have a great holiday at Lakeland.

We visited the Lakeland site at the end of May. Overall this is one of the better Haven sites we've been on. Clean, tidy, facilities up to date and functional. The site is convenient for the Southern Lakes, Grange Over Sands, Barrow, Carnforth and Morecambe.
The Only negatives were the limited seating in the bar and the lack of any opportunity for an adult only swim, the pool always seemed to be busy.

The worst park i have ever been to in over 40 years of camping / caravanning. Mainly geared for statics and its in your face all the time (even when you go to the toilet - holiday homes for sale). We had booked 12 nights but ony stayed 3 - no hot water during our stay, no toilet rolls in the gents, showers were dirty & had broken folding seats with sharp edges. In our 3 days stay only saw them cleaned once. No Warden on site (October) he had already left. People pitched everywhere and anywhere to avoid the mud. Seasonal pitch owners awnings were falling down due to wind, the place was a shambles. The food was microwaves & of very poor quality.
Evening Club for children fine but was very geared up to sell you something ie bingo ticket, photo's etc etc
Would we go back - definately NO and it has put me off ever going to a park that this company own.
