Hopton Holiday Park is set in a strikingly landscaped setting on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. Peaceful and quiet, this park makes an ideal place from which to explore the Great Yarmouth area and the rest of East Anglia’s natural beauty.
There is a range of holiday homes available for hire at Hopton, all fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break.
You’re sure to have a great time with tennis, bowling, golf, a superb pool complex and a knockout beach at Hopton meaning there is much to do for the whole family.
Such an array of possibilities means that you can do whatever you wish every day. You might choose to take it slowly and wake up to coffee and toast, or get your exercise head on and get to the pool early doors when it is specifically ‘serious swimming’ only. If you want to ignite the ‘Robin Hood’ in you, why not ask about an archery lesson?
There are many local pubs nearby, most of which serve food throughout the day, although there are excellent eating facilities also on the park itself.
For a change of pace, explore the Norfolk landscape. The area is populated with old churches and friendly village, all with a different story to be told by the welcoming local population. For something entirely different, discover the Suffolk Wool Towns, where you can learn exciting medieval history and try your hand at spinning and weaving. Ipswich, set on the banks of the River Orwell, is England’s oldest continuously settled Anglo-Saxon town. Many historic buildings and a vibrant waterfront make Ipswich well worth a visit.
In the early evening you and your loved one can stroll on the beach, take a romantic bike ride to watch the sunset, or bring the family down to the beach for a barbecue – if the weather isn’t up to it then head back to the park for an evening of great food, drink, and live entertainment!
