Norwich Camping and Caravanning Sitecan be found on the outskirts of the city that shares its name. We provide fast access to the various attractions of the local area and as such are one of the most popular parks in Norfolk. We are open from late March until early November have pitches for motorhomes, tents, and touring caravans.
We provide electric hook-ups and Wi-Fi internet access for guests throughout their stay, as well as washing up and chemical waste disposal facilities.
Whitlingham Country Park is the nearest outdoor attraction to the park, and at only 1.5 miles away is easily reached by car or on foot. It is also a popular wildlife haven where you’ll find a variety of birds, plant life, and other animals. You can explore Whitlingham Country Park on foot or on bicycle, and both options give a different perspective of this beautiful part of the landscape. You will also find a water sports centre within the country park, offering fun activities for adults and children alike.
Our park also offers great access to the Norfolk Broads, where you can take riverboat cruises, enjoy a relaxing day of fishing, or simply walk the numerous trails and enjoy the wildlife and unique plants you will come across. The popular seaside towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are reachable via a short drive. Both locations have a range of attractions that are great for the whole family, including arcades, fun fairs, and woodland areas of their own. There are also opportunities to take sea fishing trips from these locations, which offer a unique experience in the North Sea.
The city of Norwich itself also has a number of attractions, whether you’re looking to learn about the history of Norfolk, experience some of the great architecture of the city, or simply indulge in some shopping at the popular stores in the city centre. Norwich actually has more medieval churches than any other city in Western Europe, and four large shopping centres, so you’ll never be short of things to do or places to go. There are also a range of bars and restaurants where you can get something to eat, while buses run into Norwich from close to our site.
Our park is situated perfectly to create a base for exploring the beauty of Norfolk, both in the towns and cities of the area as well as the countryside and coastal areas.

Whitlingham Country Park, 1.5 miles from the site is also a haven for wildlife. In addition to being great for walking and cycling it also contains a watersports centre. Outdoors enthusiasts will also enjoy the Norfolk Broads, which forms Britain’s largest protected wetland and is home to the country’s rarest plants and wildlife.
If history, architecture or shopping are more your thing, then head for the city of Norwich. Famed for its castle and cathedral, it has a variety of attractions, including more mediaeval churches that any other city in Western Europe and four large malls to satisfy even the fussiest shopper.
