White Horse Holiday Park

White Horse Holiday Park is a beautiful three-star holiday park open from late March to late October, found close to the popular seaside resort of Weymouth and within walking distance of the stunning Jurassic Coast in Dorset.

The park has a collection of static holiday caravans for hire during the season, with no individual pitches for tents, touring caravans, or motorhomes available. All of the caravans at the park offer breath-taking views of the sea or countryside.

White Horse Holiday Park also has a number of permanently owned caravans on the site. Guests looking to make the park their permanent holiday retreat can buy a static holiday caravan at the park and stay there from early March to mid-January. All of the caravans found at White Horse Holiday Park are equipped with a range of modern conveniences, while there is a small laundrette on site for guests to use whenever they’re staying at the park.

The site overlooks Weymouth Bay, and is just three miles from the beautiful town centre, while the nearest sandy beach is within a mile and a half. The seas on this section of the south coast are renowned for their calm serenity, making them perfect for the whole family whether guests are looking to sunbathe, swim, paddle, or even go digging for fossils. Watersports are available at various locations along the coastline, and are always popular throughout the year.

As well as Weymouth Bay, guests can look out over Portland, while looking inland guests can see countryside and rolling hills. Those not looking to spend all their time at the beach will find miles of trails ideal for walking or cycling. Much of the surrounding area is Heritage Coastline and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with family activities on offer at various locations.

The park is a favourite among guests looking for a base from which to explore the beauty of Dorset. In Weymouth, guests will find a wide selection of modern shops as well as quirky, independent stores selling everything from clothes and accessories to cupcakes and holiday souvenirs. Weymouth is one of the liveliest towns on the south coast, and is thriving with great restaurants, bars, and pubs. Many places are family friendly, at least until the evening, and there are plenty of outlets selling amazing homemade food. The old harbour at Weymouth is one of the best in the country, and offers a unique backdrop for enjoying a coffee and something to eat, or a stroll along the water’s edge.

Also within reach of the park are a number of golf courses, opportunities to enjoy horse riding, and places to relax and enjoy a day of fishing or birdwatching. Many guests also enjoy travelling to Poole and Bournemouth, while some even take ferries to the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, and across to Northern France.

White Horse Holiday Park is a great place for a quiet family break, but is well within reach of some of the most exciting tourist attractions in the south. Put it on your list if you're looking for static holiday caravans for hire, or holiday homes for sale in Dorset.
