Blacklands Caravan and Camping is a friendly, family run campsite set in oak enclosed meadows in the heart of the picturesque Sussex countryside.

Children will find plenty to occupy themselves with in the large fenced off playground area in the centre of the park, and by exploring the confines of the secluded grounds on foot or bike with new found friends. You will also find goal posts and plenty of space for field games for adults and children alike.

The fishing is excellent too, with a number of scenic lakes on site, all well-stocked with fish including carp.

A family walk through the gorgeous local countryside is not to be missed, with several public footpaths running from within the close vicinity of the park. Stay on track along the paths by following one of the tailor-made google maps walking routes that we make available for your smartphone on our website - a couple of which take you along the paths to one of the more local pubs for lunch.

A sure fire plan for the evening is to hire a fire pit and grab a few logs from the onsite shop - then when the time comes to light the fire, join the others roasting potatoes or marshmallows across the site as twilight sets in.

Directions

For satnav, entering the postcode BN5 9AT will bring you to the entrance of the campsite.

Along the B2116, about 1 mile from the A281, or two miles from the A23, look out for two large black and white painted cows, at the head of a tree lined driveway. This is the entrance to Blacklands Farm.

As you arrive in the main courtyard of the farm, there are two entrances to your right. The first is a driveway to a private bungalow. Take the second entrance, and proceed through the wooded area to arrive at the main field of the campsite. The reception building and shop is then directly on your left as you enter.
