Mounts Farm Touring Park Kingsbridge, Devon, South West England, TQ9 7QJ (Location map)

Mounts Farm Touring Park has been one of the most popular campsites in Devon for over 50 years, and is set in a picturesque section of the county countryside within easy reach of the famous heritage coastal areas of the region, as well as several great towns and national parks. This makes Mounts Farm the ideal setting for which to form a ‘base camp’ from where you can explore all of the natural beauty that Devon has to offer.

This touring park is open from early March to the end of October, and allows caravans and tents to be brought onto site, with hook ups available should they be required. The site is spread across six acres, and each of the four fields that are used for pitching offer great views of the local area. One field, which has no hook ups, is particularly popular among those who want to enjoy panoramic views of the sun setting over the rolling Devon countryside.

A convenience store, in addition to other amenities, is available on site for those who want to stay around the park and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere offered by the area.

Further afield, sports enthusiasts can indulge in water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, which are available at many beaches that are dotted along the coastline. There is also a number of historic properties in the area which are open throughout the year for exploration, and each of the small villages and market towns offers a friendly welcome and a new experience. For those missing the big city, Plymouth is a short drive away, too.

To the north, Dartmoor National Park offers a great opportunity for lovers of the outdoors to explore wildlife and woodland on foot or by cycle, as well as allowing the kids, or even your pets, to run off a lot of the energy they will undoubtedly have been building up.
