Delamere Forest Camping and Caravanning Club Site opened in 2007 and fast became established as one of the most loved caravan parks in Cheshire. The park is open throughout the year and welcomes motorhomes, tents, and touring caravans onto site. We are inside the stunning Delamere Forest itself, giving you instant access to 950 hectares of stunning woodland.

We provide electric hook-ups to pitches as well as Wi-Fi internet access for guests who wish to use it, while there are facilities for laundry, washing up, and chemical waste disposal for your convenience.

Within Delamere Forest you’ll find Blakemere Moss, a stunning lake where you can indulge in a spot of fishing as well as water sports and lakeside nature trails. The trails throughout the forest are perfect for those who love walking and cycling; bikes can be hired from the visitor centre at the entrance to the site.

In addition to these traditional activities, the forest also has a Go Ape! centre, which you can walk to in a few minutes from the site. Also next to the site you will find Burnt Wood, another woodland with waterways and opportunities for fishing and walking nature trails.

Our park is between the city Chester and Northwich town, both of which feature many great attractions, as well as shops, cinemas, and bars and restaurants. Chester is famous for its heritage and features a Cathedral as well as a 13th century shopping street, while Chester Zoo is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with some stunning animals, and is one of the largest and most popular zoos in England. You’ll also find Liverpool and Manchester a short drive to the north, both cities have much to do, including shopping, and are two of the most cosmopolitan places in the north of England.

If you enjoy being up early and don’t mind the drive, then the coastline of North Wales should be explored, with town like Rhyl offering a great experience of the country without having to travel too far.

When you stay with us, you have the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Delamere Forest on your doorstep, as well as getting out and enjoying the rest of rural Cheshire or the more rugged, urban, yet alluring surrounds of Lancashire and the big cities to the north. A great location for the whole family to enjoy throughout the year, you’re sure to never be bored during a stay with us.
