Nice caravan site only 2 miles away from Delamere Forest and 9 miles from Chester, we are situated in the middle of the Cheshire rural area. Ideal base for exploring everything that the nearby area has to offer - various attractions as well as plenty of activities.

Due to the met office issuing an Amber warning for Delamere for the weekend we'd booked, I asked if we'd be able to move our booking to another weekend after I'd been asked to reschedule our forest activity (booked separately).
Initially, the manager agreed but then contacted me the next day to say she wouldn't (48hrs notice had been given).
As I didn't receive a receipt (or anything actually!) via email, I was surprised to see that I'd been charged for extras when I checked my bank statement, £5 here, £5 there...
On visiting the campsite today to try and get some of my money back, I noticed the empty field bar one trailer tent. It's clear that money comes before safety - family friendly??? :(
I didn't request a cancellation, simply to move our booking to another weekend - but the manager goes back on her word. Really upset. There's nothing on their website that says that bookings can't be amended, fair enough if a cancellation had been requested!
Wouldn't recommend Fishpool farm and certainly wouldn't throw my money away again. Customer service is poor.
