Camping Le Bon Choix , Camping St Michel, Camping Ariege, Camping Escosse.

The campsite is situated in a forest with plenty of sun and shade (2.5 hectares with 25 pitches) between the beautiful valleys of the Leze and the Ariège, surrounded by countryside. The pitches on the campsite are in the woods, being spacious and airy. The site is located on the south side of a hill with easy access. There is a small playground for the children and a terrace where you can relax with a drink and enjoy the views. The Ariège is, even for the French, an almost undiscovered region. It is quiet and spacious, even in high season. From the campsite you have views of the beautiful Pyrénées. There are many prehistoric caves, including the famous "cave of Niaux" where you can see the original wall paintings. There are many beautiful mediaeval towns, historic churches, castles and of course the glorious countryside.
The Ariège is known as "The Cathare country". From the campsite you can easily visit the most remarkable places of the Cathare history such as the castle of Foix and the ruins of Mont Segur. Languages spoken include English, French, German and of course Dutch.

Hiring

Except for camping with your own tent or caravan, The camping also offers the possibility of Hiring a bungalow or a caravan. They vary from 4 to 6 persons.
Completely decorated. The bungalows
and the caravan are located in the woods as well, so shadowy and all have an own terrace with table and seats made out of wood.
The only thing you have will have to bring yourself, are the sheets.
