Scone Palace Camping and Caravanning Club Site is situated in a picturesque location to the north of the beautiful city of Perth. We are one of the most popular caravan parks in Perth & Kinross, offering excellent access to the beauty of the Scottish countryside and coastline.
Our park is open from early March to early January, and welcomes motorhomes, touring caravans, and tents onto site. We are a family and pet friendly park with a children’s play area for youngsters to enjoy during their stay. We offer a range of pitches that are serviced by electric hook-up, and Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the site. Laundry, washing up, and chemical waste disposal facilities are situated on-site for guests to use.
Our Scone Palace site is a popular place to stay for wildlife lovers, and deer, ospreys, and most commonly, black rabbits, are often found on site. Camping and Caravanning Club Site members can take advantage of discounted entry to events that take place at Scone Palace, as well as special deals at Perth Racecourse.
Lovers of golf and fishing regularly find themselves staying on our caravan site. There are five high quality golf courses within five miles of our park, while the River Tay is also close by and has several great spots for relaxing and enjoying a spot of fishing. The Tay is also bordered with beautiful riverside trails that offer gentle exploration for the whole family and your pets.
Head out to the east where you’ll discover Dundee and Broughty Ferry, which offer excellent views of the Tay Estuary and on some occasions you will even be able to spot dolphins and seals.
Driving to the north will take you further into the foothills of the Highlands, and the Cairngorms National Park is filled with family activities that everyone can enjoy, including cycling, archery, and horse riding. Walkers and hikers can choose between gentle, rolling terrain or more challenging hill walks, while the best views are to be had by exploring the peaks of the area and walking from one to the other.
Perth itself is a great city where you’ll find everything you need, whether you’re looking to stock up on conveniences to use at the park or you want to sample exquisite Scottish cuisine. Nice site with good facilities. Enjoyable walks from the campsite around the racecourse and beside the river for dogs. Would recommend to couples and dog owners. The site is level which is good for camping as well as caravans/motorhomes

I would not recommend this site to anybody,it was just terrible, mainly thanks to the two very unfriendly, regimental elderly wardens who paraded around the site watching everyone like hawks & shouting at kids who were just having fun.You are interoggated on arrival, marched onto pitch then watched from the moment you arrive till you leave! The wardens even had kids running away in floods of tears! It was just awful and we will never go back!Maybe if the wardens spend more time cleaning the stinking shower/toilet blocks rather than hounding campers, the site might even be bearable! One night was more than enough, couldn't wait to leave!I see i am not alone.
